We are offering for your consideration an exquisite, 10.75 inch Cake Plate bearing the Oscar & Edgar Gutherz porcelain mark circa: 1899. The firm was located in Altrolau, Bohemia and eventually became part of the Austrian Porcelain industry. The artist, “Bella Dorland Jenkins” has painted gorgeous, life sized, red roses displayed among lush, green thorny stems on the cake plate. Muted background shades of brown, green, yellow and pink add depth to the flowers. A solid gold rim with a beaded design enhances the scalloped outer edges. Two open handles trimmed in gold complete this gorgeous cake plate. Other than some minuscule gold loss around the outer rim that can be expected for its age, the piece is in
VERY GOOD ESTATE CONDITION
with no paint wear, cracks, chips, flakes or repairs. Any white spots are from photo lighting. A wonderful piece to serve pastries on for your invited guests or to admire where ever placed in your home.
